Two Vermont State Police troopers were treated at a hospital over the weekend after a collision.
Troopers Gary Salvatore and Nader Hashim of the Westminster barracks were driving south on Interstate 91 in separate cars Saturday evening responding to a citizen call when they lost control of their vehicles, according to a news release from the Vermont State Police.
A portion of the highway was flooded from the heavy rain that passed through the area. According to the release, both vehicles hydroplaned and collided with each other.
Salvatore and Hashim were taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for evaluation and were released with minor injuries.
Both cars were damaged in the crash.
