BURLINGTON — City police are looking for a man who allegedly violently assaulted two female employees at Simon’s Downtown Quick Stop on South Winooski Avenue Monday morning.
Police say they responded to a report of an armed robbery at the store at 8:43 a.m. Monday morning. The suspect fled the store with an unknown amount of money after threatening the employees with a weapon, which was not displayed.
Both employees suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
