Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman in Arlington.
Investigators with the state police responded to a report of a dead body on Warm Brook Road Friday morning, according to a statement.
Authorities have not yet released the woman’s identity, pending notification of her family. The woman’s body will be examined by the state’s chief medical examiner to determine the cause of her death.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police believe her death is an isolated incident. They say there is no “apparent danger” to the public.
