Vermont State Police have confirmed that no explosive devices were found on the Lyndon State College campus after a bomb threat Tuesday.

Campus security searched the campus immediately after the college received the threat and found nothing, then contacted the Vermont State Police to report the threat. Troopers and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations responded, according to a state police news release.

The admissions and student services offices received an anonymous email Tuesday that explosive devices were placed in various locations on the campus, according to the news release.

The college said all scheduled programs and activities will go on while Vermont State Police continue the investigation to find the origin of the email.
